lifeboat maintenance
Ten years have passed since the opening of Nippon Survival Training Center, and more and more parts of the facility require maintenance every year. Repairs are being carried out on a daily basis, but during the lifeboat training the other day, we found a part where the rubber of the hatch was peeling off with the delegate. I told We will definitely fix it, so I report the repair completion. For this repair, we reattached the side hatch rubber of the davit type lifeboat and replaced the hatch rubber of the freefall lifeboat.
Free fall lifeboat hatch rubber replacement
As a familiarization training for the release operation of the freefall lifeboat, the staff boarded the boat and conducted launch training.
At that time, I heard from the staff behind the boat it was cold due to splashes of water coming from around the hatch after landing, so I carried out repairs.
The number of parts require repairs increases year by year, but we will maintain and manage the facility so that everyone who attends can train with peace of mind.
We look forward to participation.
