OPITO approved Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) from 25th to 27th September
Delegates from 4 different companies joined OPITO approved BOSIET course from 25th to 27th September.
In Japan September and October is assumed as the season for sports, and many schools have athletic festival.
The delegates enjoyed training with great teamwork like as athletes had.

Training had been completed and we received
delegate’s comment as follows.
“Simulated training for offshore was very helpful and provided me a lot of learning outcomes. I am not sure if I would be able to respond to the emergency actively or not, but I would like to operate confidently with the awareness that I have learned here, “Always simulate the worst that can happen”.
From NSTC: It is difficult to respond without panic when one encounters an unforeseen circumstance. The experience of the emergency situation in training will allow us to have a tip to deal with the emergency, as unforeseen circumstance will be “expected situation” by training experience. We hope that what you have learned will be beneficial if the worst happens (of course, we wish there won’t be a chance to encounter emergency, though!).
