LBO course has been held. March 28 to 31
From March 28 to 31, we have held MLIT(Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport)approved LBO course.
It is becoming more and more like spring, and Sakura is starting to blossom all over in Kitakyushu. It was mostly cloudy during the 4-day course. However wind and wave conditions were fairly calm. The practical training at sea on day 3 must have been quite comfortable one. Considering this is training, some may say it is better with somewhat rough condition though. It is all depends on weather and sea condition at the time. Either way, safety is no.1 priority during any training.
Let’s take a look at some scenes from practical training at sea!
Delegate sits on the coxswain’s seat one by one for steering practice of the lifeboat. The instructor standing on aft end of the boat is instructing delegate and also confirming safety of surroundings.
NSTC-1 (our davit type lifeboat) is coming back to the lifeboat facility on quay after the steering practice.
One of the comments which we received from delegates at their completion of the course was “It was easy to understand, safe and good overall”. We are very happy to hear the comment. We are looking forward to seeing all of you again for another training as most of you have taken BOSIET or FOET course here. Thank you and please come back again.
