OPITO approved Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) was conducted from 7th Feb. to 9th Feb.
During this BOSIET we had a total of 16 delegates, from 7 differing companies, who braved the mix weather of snow and cold rain. A few of the delegates were apprehensive of the training, saying that they were worried about the HUET, due to not being too fond of swimming. But during the training, the HUET exercise went smoothly with all delegates completing the whole course. According to their comments, it had been much warmer than thought; the same as last week.
