Business collaboration agreement with JMETS
Nissui Marine Kogyo, Co. Ltd. and Japan agency of Maritime Education and Training for Seafarers (JMETS), having played important role in education for marine transport business and had a great responsibility in education of Japanese seafarer, two parties have just tied the collaboration agreement regarding the Basic Safety Training regulated in STCW Convention and Code chapter 6.

JMETS organize the Basic Safety Training refresher course regulated in STCW Convention and Code chapter 6, in three different area in Japan, that is Kanto area (East Japan), Kansai area (Western Japan) and Kyushu area. NSTC run by Nissui Marine Kogyo, Co. Ltd., has been outsourced the training in Kyushu area to perform the training.
It has become mandatory that the competence of “Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting” and “Personal Proficiency of Survival Techniques” have to be proved being maintained by each seafarer because of their specific duty onboard, in accordance with 2010 Manila Amendment of STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for seafarers) Convention and Code. We, NSTC, proud of the cooperation with JMETS at this growing demand for the training since the complete enforcement of the Convention in the beginning of this year.

NSTC also offer Class NK approved STCW Basic Training and STCW Basic Training Refresher Course both in Japanese and English as language, in addition to the commissioned training. Please contact NSTC for those NK approved training.
