Participating Tokyo International Fire and Safety Exhibition 2018

Tokyo International Fire and Safety Exhibition 2018 was hosted by Tokyo Fire Department last weekend from May 31 to June 3 at Tokyo Big Sight, one of the most popular event venue in Japan. Approximately 180 thousands visitors enjoyed the latest fire fighting techniques and equipment, as well as many demonstrations, exhibition and fun event. On Saturday and Sunday, there have been so many family and kids entertainment that massive kids enjoyed the exhibition as well as adults. 
NSTC also exhibited to introduce some of the trainings which targeting fire department personnel. Two of the trainings are very popular among the professional rescuers, and these are Aircrew Ditching Course and Diving Techniques. We had special fun goodsas below; 
The mock up panel of the helicopter simulator. As Helicopter Underwater Egress Training is conducted underwater, therefore, the visitors could not experience the training, of course. The visitor could take a photo just as being inside the ditching helicopter by taking photo with this panel and edit it to turn 180 degree.
As the delegates joining the training always very nervous that they cannot smile during the ditching training, but those who joined taking photos in our booth had brilliant smile.
Some of the visitors acted very dynamically and the photo they took was lively as I have never seen.
On Saturday and Sunday, we distributed Fish Sausage, very famous product of our parent company, NISSUI. We explained the background of establishment of NSTC as “NISSUI wanted to establish the training center for those working at ocean in order to reciprocate the bounty of the sea that we have had received, when they celebrated their 100 year in business. That training center is NSTC.” Most of the visitors were surprised and admired NISSUI’s extensive business operation. 
We are very happy that many people discovered NSTC and that we received many questions and encouragement. Thank you very much for visiting our booth, and I hope to see you soon at next opportunity.
