End of Fiscal Year
March was a great time of year to slow down for a few minutes and admire nature in all its beauty.
I hope that everyone was able to have a short breather from the stresses of life during the current covid-19 counter-measures.
On another note, the staff at NSTC have also been keeping up on their certifications and annual duties.
This month we have been able to update all of our Lifesavers certifications for pool staff to comply with OPITO and overall safety.
We were also able to hold our annual maintenance for our METS 30 (HUET simulator) to ensure that all customers and staff are treated to a smooth and safe training!
The best of all, for this month, was having our annual OPITO audit. It was interesting this year being that it was all carried out electronically, over 2 days.
I believe that it went rather well, considering that we had new staff participating in it and it was all in English. Of course, our fabulous team was able to support each other very good to help maintain our approval as an OPITO training facility for another year!
