Behind-the-scenes support
The summer heat continues every day, but I hope everyone is not suffering from heat exhaustion and in good health.
This is my first summer here at NSTC. I am not good at summer heat, so outside training is a battle against the heat, and I am sincerely hoping for a cooler season to come soon.
Now, I’d like to introduce on of my work.
The yellow painting was peeling off the edge of corridor in front of the lecture room at the Wakamatsu Firefighting Training Facility. It was yellow painted to warn people to be careful of the curbs and steps.
This was the first time for me to do this kind of work, and I am satisfied with the result, which is more beautiful than I expected, even though I am an amateur.
This is just one example of the work we do behind the scenes to support the training. We carefully maintain the facilities and equipment used for training so that all trainees can take the training safely and securely, and return home satisfied with their training.
This summer is also a difficult time for us as it is important to prevent both heat stroke andCOVID-19 infection, so please take good care of yourselves.
We all look forward to seeing you in the training!!
