BOSIET Course has been held, February 8 – 10.
BOSIET course with the maximum number of 16 delegates took place at our training center. As usual, we walked together, instructors, delegates and staff, thru the condensed and diversified simulations. We are simulating harsh situations and keep people safe, like as our profession requests, but the art begins when we succeed to make the delegate feel skilled and motivated to survive if worst is happen. It is a never ending challenge!
One of our delegates remarked:
“I was able to focus both lecture and practical training, and everything went smooth because all instructors spoke clearly and made it easy to understand. It was a little cold but considering it would be much colder in the real situation, it was meaningful experience that made me imagine severity of survival. I was thinking this way: “If the 28 degree water feel like this, what it would be like in less than 10 degree water?”
From NSTC: In NSTC facility, the water of the training pool heated up to 28 degrees and air conditioning system produce comfortable environment for the training. If the water temperature fall below 10 degree…the imagination is important to establish the measurement for the emergency. Thank you very much for joining us!
