STCW Course has been held, September 5 – 10
Being hit by typhoon and rain, the temperature getting cooler and cooler. There will be autumn approach in a month, the season that is perfect for enjoying beautiful color leave, readings, and great feast from the nature.
We have had delegates from Federated States of Micronesia and Papua New Guinea to study fishery techniques in OFCF (Overseas Fishery Cooperation Foundation of Japan) joined our STCW course from September 5 to 10.
NSTC has been approved by Class NK and Marshall as the training provider delivering IMO Model Course 1.13, 1.19, 1.20 and 1.21 in both Japanese and English. This time, as the delegates are from Micronesian so we delivered the training in English.
I would like to introduce some photos taken in Simulation Room, where we explain delegates the system of the launching by simulator prior to launching on real lifeboat.

The lectures and practical training in English felt new for us, even though we had been very common for us. The contents, however, are same for both Japanese and English. Native English speaking instructor and bilingual staff delivered the training with warmest wishes that the delegates bring a lot of benefits and information back to their country.
It was a training in Japan where unfamiliar surroundings, but all of the delegates enjoyed and completed the course, congratulations!!
NSTC offers both English and Japanese training for OPITO approved BOSIET/FOET/HUET course and GWO Basic Safety Training. We are looking forward to have inquiry from the delegates abroad, too!
