Senior Officials of 5 Districts’ Bureau of Ship Inspection and Transport had a tour of our facilities.
On January 26th Senior Officials of the Kyushu, Kinki, Kobe, Chugoku and Shikoku Districts’ Bureau of Ship Inspection and Transport, for a total of 44 persons, had a tour of our facilities. The party toured the viewed the lifeboats at the lifeboat facility followed by part of a sea survival training at the training facility pool in Tobata. They then moved onto the firefighting facilities in Wakamatsu to experience procedures on how to escape from areas with limited and completely obscured visibility in our smoke escape room. They applauded our positive attitude and appreciation for ensuring the safety of life at sea then they commented that our training center was quite interesting.
