JAMSTEC(Japan Agency for Marine-earth and Technology) supporting members visited NSTC.
42 JAMSTEC supporting members visited NSTC and viewed HUET training and free fall system lifeboat training. They gasped in surprise for quick evacuation from HUET trainer in the water and splash made by free fall system lifeboat launching. They also experienced procedures on how to escape from areas with limited visibility in our smoke escape room at firefighting training facility. We had many comments like I could realize it is very difficult to escape from areas with limited visibility and it is very important to take such trainings so that I would really like to take trainings at NSTC.
They earnestly viewed HUET training, Liferaft righting training, etc.
Then, they viewed free fall system lifeboat launching and felt nice spring splash.
They had explanation at firefighting facility and experienced procedures on how to escape from areas with limited visibility in our smoke escape room.
