GWOBasic Safety Training Audit
Hello, I’m Hiroko in Quality Management Section.
I usually working in the office in Tokyo,but I have stayed in Kitakyushu where headquarters of our company and NSTC’s training facility were for business trip.
It is because that I needed to attend the GWO Audit conducted by SGS Japan.
We have annual audit by SGS Japan for GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certification, and re-certification process in every three years. The audit this year was the re-certification audit. It has been three years past since we organize GWO training. The time goes by surprisingly fast!!
The auditor observe all five modules of GWO Basic Safety Training for bothe lectures and practical trainings, as well as the management systems and physical and staff resources in detail.

I always feel nervous while I’m observed by somebody, such as while examination, health check and audit. But it is worth to been observed as it is a great chance to improve, I buckled myself to attend the audit.

We finally received the qualification of re-certification without any non-conformity after 4 days of audit.
I myself observe GWO practical training at our training field for the first time in a few month, I have noticed some improvement in training. It has been half a year past since I moved to Tokyo Office, there are many points that has been improved and I felt so happy to witness those improvements. 
NSTC annually go through several audits by different organizations. It means that we have that much opportunity to “improve”. We will maintain and enhance the quality not only as the sequence of audit but also as the sequence of continual awareness by each staff. I would like to pay particular attention to the quality, as a member of Quality Management Section
