United in unity
From October 3 to October 7, Diving Technique Marine Practical Training was conducted in west of the Wakato Bridge over Dokai Bay, where NSTC is located.
For five days, we were blessed with a perfect (?) training environment with fast currents and poor underwater visibility, ideal for training in a realistic environment, delegates were able to complete the compass navigation, jackstay search, baseline search, and scenario training, despite being tossed around by the current.
On the last day of the training, the training reached its climax, with Fukuoka Fire Academy observed the training, the delegates’ spirits were at their highest!
It seemed that all of our feelings and bodies became one.
NSTC conducts Marine Practical Training for those who have completed Diving Techniques Training (Basic), with the aim of further improving their diving skills.
The training in real sea surface is an environment with fast currents and poor visibility, but all NSTC staff will do their best to support the training to contribute to the safety.
