Free-fall Lifeboat Launching Drill
We periodically conduct free-fall lifeboat launching drills. While we were busy providing variety of trainings, we arranged the schedules of staff members and conducted the drill. In the past, we used to conduct launching the free-fall lifeboat twice in one day for training purposes, but due to the revision of the training syllabus, we rarely have the opportunity to conduct launching free-fall lifeboats. We decided to have a launching drills once every few months for the purpose of staff training and maintenance, but we have not been able to do so for some time. However, this time, all the staff members united their hearts and carried out the drill.
Free-fall lifeboat preparing for launching
Lifeboat emerging from the water after landing
Lifeboat gliding on the surface of water
Lifeboat returning to the stowed position by self-propulsion
We conduct experience the embarkation of the free-fall lifeboat in some of our training, but in many cases, we do not launch the lifeboat. Therefore, the lifeboat seemed to be happy to land on the water and enjoyed the launching for the first time in a while. Now, the lifeboat is stored in a ready-to-be-launched condition, so those who wish to experience launching them should contact NSTC (note: an additional fee will be charged).
