GWO basic safety training version 14

This time I would like to inform you about the revision of the GWO standard.

The revised standard version 14 of GWO (global wind organization) basic safety training has been issued in April. sparkles

After the transition period of 3 months, it will be effective from July 1st.

Last time, in version 13, which came into effect in January 2020, two modules, Working at Heights and Manual Handling, were combined and added as one new module. The two remain as individual modules as they have been, Working at Heights (2 days) and Manual Handling (0.5 days), but as the combined module, “Working at Heights and Manual Handling combined”the total time will be shortenedto 2 days.

This time, however, there was an update of the content in Sea Survival, but there were no major changes in other modules, and as a whole, there were only a few word changes. For example, in the standard, the word “Delegates” was used for trainees (or students), but it was changed to “Participant”.

By the way, “Delegate” means a representative, etc., but it is also used in the OPITO standard as a word to describe trainees (or students)

Temperature outside is just right for practical training outside lately, unfortunately it only last very short time, soon comes hot season. We will deliver the training, rain or shine, hot or cold. smiley

We are looking forward to seeing you here for the training.
